Understanding cup sizes
Cup size is the difference between your full bust measurement and your under-bust measurement. Here's how to read it:
| Cup Size | Difference (Bust − Under-Bust) | In Inches | In Cm | BraSilQ Sizes | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | 1 inch / 2.5 cm | ~1" | ~2–3 cm | XS, S | Small cup, light coverage needed |
| B | 2 inches / 5 cm | ~2" | ~4–5 cm | XS, S, M | Most common — good lift and coverage |
| C | 3 inches / 7.5 cm | ~3" | ~6–8 cm | M, L | Fuller cup — great support from TureForm |
| D | 4 inches / 10 cm | ~4" | ~9–11 cm | L, XL | Full cup — wide back panel gives best support |
| DD | 5 inches / 12.5 cm | ~5" | ~12–13 cm | XL, XXL | Very full — posture correction most impactful |
| E | 6 inches / 15 cm | ~6" | ~14–16 cm | XXL | Plus size — full coverage and strong support |
Measure in
3 easy steps
Measure Your Under-Bust
Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your torso directly under your bust — where the bra band sits. Keep it parallel to the floor and breathe normally. This is your band size.
Measure Your Full Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust — usually across the nipple line. Keep it parallel to the floor and don't pull too tight. This is your bust measurement.
Calculate the Difference
Subtract your under-bust from your full bust measurement. The result gives your cup size (see cup chart above). Then match both to the size chart to find your perfect BraSilQ size.
Pro tip from our founder: "Measure yourself in the morning before meals, in front of a mirror. Ask a friend to help if possible — self-measurement can sometimes be off by 1–2 inches."
Signs you have the right fit
Band sits flat
The back band should sit parallel to the floor — not ride up. If it rides up, your band is too loose. Try sizing down.
Cups sit smooth
No spillage over the top and no gaps at the sides. If cups gap, size down. If you spill over, size up.
Straps don't dig
Straps should sit comfortably on your shoulders — you should be able to slide two fingers underneath easily.
Band too tight?
If the band leaves red marks or feels uncomfortable after 2 hours, size up. The TureForm should feel snug — not tight.
Cups too full?
If your bust is spilling over the top or sides of the cups, size up. A well-fitted cup fully encases the breast tissue.
